DPxDC Zero Gravity
Things Justice League knows about Danny Phantom:
He's dead (why, how, and for how long is unclear)
He's generally on the 'good' side (but contingency plans have been set up in case of 'future evil self' resurfacing, by Danny's own suggestion)
He's a figure of authority among other dead/neverborn/otherworldly/eldritch/magical beings (however, it's unclear to what kind of authority he holds and why)
He's dating one of the Bats (unclear to who, but none of them confirmed nor denied the fact, which is a confirmation on its own)
He absolutely hates only three things: toast, circus, and Christmas (neither of them explained)
His powerset is so wide that he can't even fully recount it (unclear if it's because he doesn't remember all his abilities or if he can't keep track of the new ones popping up spontaneously)
He's hot [whoever added this, you're not wrong, but I'm watching you - O.]
He has a grudge against Flash (unclear to why, but Flash seems to know the reason and won't budge regardless)
Of course, there are many more things to know about Danny Phantom, but they are mostly suspicions, rumors, and speculations. Like how sometimes the boy seems distracted and bored as if he is only going through a pre-written script; a sign of repeatedly going through the same day a few times too many, as the other time-travellers say. Or like how sometimes he knows too much - the boy is an expert in Kryptonian biology, to Clark's great surprise, and is more knowledgeable about Olympus politics than Diana herself.
There are also little things that are hard to notice and even harder to ignore once you do. How he never talks about family but likes listening to others talk about it. How he pointedly stays away from the medbay and any kind of medical staff. How he stops every time he passes one of the giant windows on the main floor of the Watchtower, smiling dreamily at the sight of vast, open space beyond it.
And then, there's The Thing that no one addresses.
When Danny Phantom doesn't pay attention, he unknowingly nullifies gravity.
The first time it happened, Bruce thought the Watchtower's artificial gravity collapsed. However, he very quickly realized that it was a local occurrence - only a few rooms and a hallway were affected - and, right in the center of it, was Danny, reading a book he borrowed (stolen) from the Wayne manor library.
The boy himself never noticed it. Which made sense, given that he defied gravity all on his own, always floating in the air above the floor.
But the others never acknowledged it either, treating the sudden absence of gravity as a sign of one, Danny appearing somewhere around, and two, him being in a good, if a bit absent, mood.
All in all, it's not the strangest thing that happens at the Watchtower on a daily basis.
And, besides, it's kind of fun.
¤¤¤
Danny, floating in the middle of the game room at Wayne manor, deeply engrossed in a video game: Eat this, sucker!
Tim, using his toes and knees to keep himself from floating up from the couch, not wanting to distract Danny from their match: Oh, you're going down.
Titus in the background:
Tumblr media
¤¤¤
Bart, in the middle of a conversation with Kon:
Tumblr media
Kon: ...
Bart, looking down at the cup on the floor: ... I guess he left?..
Kon: He literally went through a giant glowing portal two minutes ago, five feet away from you, but that's how you figure it out?
Bart: I have a short attention span, anyway-
¤¤¤
Barry, opening a bag of chips just for all the contents and himself as well to start floating: I swear he does this on purpose, I fucking swear.
Tumblr media
¤¤¤
Red Tornado, coming into the training hall of Mount Justice: ...
Young Justice:
Tumblr media
Red Tornado: I take it Danny is visiting. I'll leave you to it, then.
¤¤¤
Bruce, walking out of the conference room at the Watchtower to see this on the other end of the hallway, internally: He may be coming this way, I should warn the others in the room.
Tumblr media
Bruce, a second later, because he is a little shit deep inside: On the other hand, it's a great surroundings awareness drill, so maybe I shouldn't.

༄ husband! hiromi x gn! smut writer!reader (,sfw/suggestive)
hiromi doesn't watch pornography. he finds it tacky and tasteless. the artificial lighting, scripted dialogue, exaggerated moans, none of that appealed to him in the slightest. (his dislike for it was only cemented by what he's learned about the industry through his line of work)
instead, when he his needs become too much to ignore and you're away from one another, higuruma reads. he reads erotic stories written online by self proclaimed amateur writers that write some of the best things he's had the absolute pleasure to read.
hes followed countless accounts over the years, showing his support in their comments while he remains hidden safely away behind his keyboard smash username, something hardly coherent he made while horribly pent up on day long ago.
one account though, stands out as his favourite; the writing raw and alive. it turned him on like nothing else imaginable when he reads the words imagining it was you he was holding instead of his phone.
some of the things mentioned stories could feel so familiar, too familiar. it's all just coincidence of course. the way the dialogue sounds so much like you when imagines you saying it, the words spilling softly from your parted lips.
but lately, things feel.. different. you've gone out with some of your friends and hiromi knows he shouldn't but the urge that overcomes him is not to get comfortable in bed to read but instead to snoop around your computer. you spend so much time on it as of late, typing away so intently.
you wouldn't cheat, it would be dishonest and unfair, you are neither of those things. there's nothing to worry about but to quell his own mind, he still finds himself opening it up and typing in your password.
for a moment, he's scared you might've changed it. shit that would be a sign right? would that mean somethings going on? more images of the worst fill his head and just as quickly they're pushed aside when the device unlocks. good!
hiromi lets out a shaky breath, before getting to work, finding what's been keeping you so preoccupied and away from him — and then he does; the webpage of his favourite author. do you read them too? it looks different from your screen though.
he feels his heart pounding in his throat. pounding because he knows snooping is wrong, pounding because of his new found discovery. hiromi scrolls more on the open page, filled with short sentence long ideas and longer half finished pieces — the drafts.
he keeps going until he finds a piece with named characters, one with your name and one with his own.
it's too much to be a coincidence.
there's a feeling of relief as he rolls through, the worst of his thoughts not having been realized and for that he is infinitely happy, but also there's something that follows. something teasing, maybe even a little mean.
oh, how much fun he's going to have with you.
hiromi scrolls back to where you left it and closes the computer, humming to himself in glee, doing the best he can to contain his grin he wears while venturing into the kitchen to get some chores done while your gone; the original plan, what he was supposed to be doing instead of scrolling through your little newly discovered secret
you come home a few hours later, "hiro? i'm home!" as you're taking your shoes off at the door to make your way inside. you find him drying and putting away dishes, "welcome back darling, how was it?" "mmm, it was good. you smell nice" wrapping your hands around his waist with your face buried in his strong back. "yea?"
"mhm. so so good" your voice is heavy laced with sleep; you sound exhausted. as much as he would like begin putting his scheming plans in motion, your wellbeing takes precedence always. the man coos at you soft, lording the hold you have on him so he could turn to face you.
both of hiromis hands come to cup your face, their cooler then you would have expected when you first got together, but the touch is always welcome. you find immense comfort in the feeling of them, soft strong fingers holding your warmed cheeks.
"you tired love? yea? poor thing. come on let's get you ready for bed hm?" he gathers you in his arms, carefully carrying you up the stairs to your shared room. hiromi carries you into the attached bathroom, setting you down on the sink. he begins undoing your hair, and wiping away the remains of your makeup, washing your face, and applying the steps of your skincare to your face meticulously, gently massaging the skin of your face. the comforting cool of his hands lulling you further, your drooping eyes no longer fighting yo stay open.
he asks if you're alright with him changing you as if he hadn't done it countless times before, hiromi still asks, he always does.
when he gets your confirmation, he hums as he begins undressing you, sliding the adorned fabrics off your body and replacing it with the more comfortable material of his worn cottan shirts. it fits you like a dress, the hem brushing over the upper part of your thighs.
hiromi tucks you into bed, planting a kiss against the side of your head (not in your face you he just did your skincare, he doesn't wanna ruin it) he stays there, just watching for a moment with so much adoration in his eyes while you drowsily drifting off somewhere he cannot be with you. he twirls a piece of you hair in his hand,
"goodnight my love, sleep sound" and dream sweet. dream of me.
hiromis plans will have to be rescheduled it seems.

copy room firsts
(luke cooper x reader)
content: just fluff, kissing, luke being a cutie
--
your fingers drum playfully on the photocopy machine as you wait for the stack of papers phyllis had asked you to pick up. the old machine chugs along at its usual snail’s pace, the loud hum almost deafening in the cramped room. ever since luke had tried to print the entire script of snatch fifty times, the thing had been slower than ever.
the light beneath the copier slides across the paper—up, then back—its repetitive motion the only visual stimulation available in the otherwise bland room. someone really should put up a bulletin board or something to look at. you try not to think too hard about the monotony of office life, focusing instead on waiting for the machine to finish when suddenly, the fine hairs on the back of your neck stand up. there’s no sound, no creak of the door, but you can feel it—someone’s behind you.
“whatcha doing?” luke breathes in your ear, his voice so close you flinch involuntarily.
you spin around, startled, but luke's already backed away, his trademark grin plastered on his face as if he's enjoying every second of your discomfort. he leans back in, his breath warm against your skin, sending an involuntary chill down your spine.
“i’m making copies for phyllis”
“making copies...” luke echoes, a playful cadence in his voice. he reaches down and grabs a stack of freshly printed papers. “let’s see here…”
“you’re not supposed to be in here" you remind him, although you didn't really care. luke was a bother to most of the office but you actually enjoyed his company.
“it’s fine,” he waves you off, unfazed. “you’re just... teaching me how to properly use this thing.”
“am i now?”
“uh huh. what’s the first button i press?” luke grins, reaching for the copier with that mischievous gleam in his eyes.
“don’t touch it,” you swat his hand away before he can cause more trouble.
“ouch?” he whines, though the smirk on his face suggests he’s far from wounded.
finally, the copier spits out the last of the papers. you turn your back on luke and start organizing them, hoping he’ll go back to his desk if you ignore him long enough. it's only a matter of time before someone realizes he's missing and you don't want to get in trouble. plus luke's already on everyone's nerves, you don't want your only friend to get fired.
“creed follows me on twitter,” luke suddenly announces with that nonchalant attitude of his, now leaning against the wall.
you glance up, eyebrows furrowed in disbelief before letting out a chuckle. “honestly, that makes sense. you two are equally…” your voice trails off as you lose yourself in the task at hand, stacking the papers with precision.
luke, of course, isn’t satisfied with that. “equally what?”
“hm?” you blink, snapping out of your concentration. “oh, it’s nothing. i don’t even remember what i was gonna say.”
“hm.. what are you doing now?” luke presses, stepping off the wall and moving closer, curiosity shining in his dark eyes.
“i’m organizing these papers for phyllis”
luke hovers close behind you, his presence unmistakable. he leans in, his head tilting just enough so that when you glance over your shoulder, you’re met with his gaze, his face only inches from yours.
"phyllis this, phyllis that.. you're like her little servant" he teases, his tone low.
you hold eye contact for a moment, tension hanging in the air between you like an unspoken challenge while you watch his pupils search your face. his eyes seem softer now in the artificial light, and something stirs inside you. before you can second-guess it, you close the space between you, melding your lips to his.
it's a bit of an awkward kiss, your noses bump and luke doesn't seem like he knows what to do with his mouth, but you don't mind. there’s something sweet about the clumsiness, especially considering luke's usual aloofness. you pull away after a few seconds, a satisfied warmth spreading through you
luke looks anywhere but at you, scratching the back of his neck nervously. “uh, cool. uh…” he’s flustered—an unusual sight for him.
"was that your...?"
"first?... yeah"
“sorry,” you say softly, guilt creeping in. you kinda wish you had known before you went in for it, a dingy photocopy room is probably not the place most people want to have their first kiss.
“no, it’s—don’t worry about it,” luke stammers, still looking slightly dazed. “i liked it.”
you both fall into an awkward silence, the only sound the steady hum of the overhead lights.
“i have to take these copies back to... phyllis...” you finally say, breaking the tension as you gather the papers in your arms.
“right, yeah,” luke mumbles, stepping aside as you move toward the door. “go do that.”
just before you leave, you pause and turn to him. “what are you doing after work?”
luke's eyes meet yours again, the hint of a smile on his face. “i don’t know… depends. what are you doing?”

SINFUL WATCHERS | 01

pairing: s. geto x f!reader // w.c 1.6k
synopsis: Geto Suguru, moulded by the hefty hands of the Lord himself, and his brazen suggestion for him and distant friend/classmate L/n Y/n (Satan's favourite poem and existence opposed by heaven's residents) to anonymously post a video of their lewd entanglement on twitter proves to be more hazardous than one would think. Who knew one viral video could overturn God's plan?
warnings: 18+, heavy smut, modern!uni/alternative!AU, forbidden romance (?), fwb, angst, uploading of NSFW content by characters (basically Twitter p0rn stars), blasphemy, religious imagery/symbolism

Tumblr media
PORN WAS A sensitive matter depending on the individual discussing the controversial industry that had hypnotised many citizens upon the temporary abode otherwise known as Earth. Its supremacy upon an individual's mental state was hazardous and damning to witness when one gradually succumbed to preferring actors faking a climax over their partner whom they shared a bed with.
One take on the matter differed from another as others with a sensible control over their senses and the amount of content they engrossed viewed the idea of filming taboo content as a meaningful gift from God, a thoughtful act despite his low tolerance for sinners who consciously denied his existence-or if aware then willingly ignored his presence. To those engrossed with erotic stunts, it indeed was a blessing from the heavily adored heavens above, regardless of whether one wanted to admit it or not.
Almost everyone was entranced by seeing (usually) two bodies functioning effortlessly. A duet consisting of instruments were partnered to perform a deceiving harmony one tried to shield from elders' earshot and bleary sight. The involvement of more figures indicated the commencement of a musical band preparing to convert all their sensual components into a well-composed orchestra - a flow of bodies beautifying the negative perceptions tied to orgies and intercourse with more than one party.
To be more precise, indecorous acts compared to rhapsodies only the gifted could perpetrate shared organisation, composition and utter precision - unfortunately, another trait between the two was complete genericness.
Though the tunes that flowed soothed the tense air and shifted the thousands present into a convivial crowd with each breath blown, every chord plucked and greeted ear canals with pleasantries, formulated rhymes were old classics which could only be appreciated by a specific group and intended for those of older status. The younger generation typically classed the symphonic concerts as a bore, the same view carried for scripted erotica.
The exaggerated moans, artificial orgasms, and crappy storylines; it indeed was embarrassing. Yet, once homemade videos debuted, one never endured the urge to complain - instead, enthralled by a twosome formulating guileless symphonies whilst in a comfortable setting, able to relax and genuinely endure a release without the physicality of multiple spectators gathered in anticipation before exclaiming 'we captured the shot!'.
The DIY media project was a novelty concept introduced once the frenzy around social media grew, innovating the familiarity around filming sexual intercourse for the sole pleasure of being accessed by users across the nation and likely within differing regions who could witness sincere desire spew. Each video uploaded by those lacking acting expertise embraced their anonymity and desperateness as their tongues spritzed with spontaneity savoured the intoxication of stardom; the idea confining dedicated lovers and their steamy lust onto a fresh loop of intrigue.
Scripts no longer existed nor were required. Lousy cliches like a lifeguard and a beach babe attempting to enjoy the poolside ceased to receive the public's commendation again.
Those who filmed themselves were qualified to remain authentic because there was no rule to control their speech and forge their emotions. Viewers listened as honey-coated cries of unlawful pleasure dripped from the mouths of humans trapped in a whirlwind of ecstasy.
Most of the clips skipped introductions and delved into the main act, which removed the annoyance of one filtering across the thin line of timestamps to the part they anticipated - another benefit scribbled on the side of positives as it's directness formed the viewing experience far more superior and convenient.
Some were snippets, others were extensive. Heaps of content sprinkled with the tenderness of homey authenticity existed with the involvement of fore-play being included. Regardless, the watcher succumbed to the throbbing desire within and was washed in a sexual mood as arousal spiked within the depths of themselves and heightened rapidity.
What better place than the specific social platform formally associated with a blue background and white bird?
A site lacking monetary requirement to view most categories of porn as the moderators of the boundless forum permitted the distribution of drooling content, threads of carnal exposure that kept one's legs trembling, senses soothed and sheets dampened via a few splurged liquidations of dismantled frustration afterwards infused into the linen. The self-love people achieved through any pleasurable recording was astonishing.
"What a sin. How disrespectful of yourself to watch such filth. What a disgraceful human being." is the thought of those who held themselves in high regard as exquisite saints announced in a tone of pure judgement.
Seeing those in utter bliss, how horrifying and shameless?
"He's watching from above. Eyes beady and shaking his head at how easily you fell into that sin you could've overall avoided".
Had anyone knowingly respected the mindset of refraining from sexual enjoyment? Genuinely, had anyone, especially surrounded by the current generation's outlook, bothered to pay attention to scarcity? Maybe those who willingly carried the pressure of pursuing the role of an exemplary human had - yet even those who attempted to defame the normalcy of overt fornication suffered from a minuscule glance.
Regardless of belief in any religion and hierarchy, bewilderment scorched one's sight when viewing their first pornography, questioning their inquisitiveness and why they had searched such matters to begin with. Yet, consciousness failed to register as the encouraging appeal clung to each of the viewer's lashes and forced their eyes wide - intrigue replaced the need to pause and dispersed the guilt clogging their mind.
Instead, that person purposely continued and, if too immersed, slipped a hand into their underwear.
In those moments, all that mattered was themselves, which was the exact case for L/n Y/n - a deceivingly beautiful female whose sharp eyes, both taunting and tempting, were curtained by her wispy lashes that remained unmoved whilst anticipating the next scene concerning the shuddering actress displayed on her dimly lit screen, tuning in to her surroundings with pure concentration from time to time.
With caution integrated beneath her actions, it could be mistaken Y/n hadn't been involved with masturbation and that it was her first time roped into a dangerous situation of this sort. Her pupils, soon to be a pitiful tunnel for the hypnotised, were currently fogged with desperation and disrupted by a few y/h/c strands which had escaped the chunk tucked behind her ear, her hair colour complementary against her complexion doused with a clammy sheen.
But alas, this had occurred many times prior. Clearly, no regrets weighed upon her, or she wouldn't have found herself in this situation.
There was nobody to be on high alert for in her basic studio apartment (a gift reserved by her late father, knowing his daughter would be of the studious sort and expand her knowledge beyond the attendance of the required education institutions as her bills remained managed by her widowed mother) - yet the thought a stranger could invite themselves in and catch her in such an indecent act stirred a common fear within her.
Y/n nipped her lip in frustration whilst her blown eyes fixated upon the masturbating brunette displayed on her screen, who exaggeratedly squealed from the vibrant toy sliding in and out of her, painfully stretching her apart.
The female - who was usually studying - thighs ached from the knotted tension as she heavily inhaled once her fingers, enveloped by her tender walls, curled to the right. Pleasure overwhelmed her distorted senses when the soft pads of her fingers left the comforting slick of her entrance and began vigorously rubbing her sensitive clit in fast, circular motions.
A faint whimper of desperation plagued the stuffy air once she ruthlessly shoved around her clit in various directions - her mind utterly distracted with her determination to come undone until every fraction of stress settled between the crooks of her limbs was dispelled.
She whined, pursing her pouty lips together once a familiar coil twisted deep inside the pit of her stomach, one she sensed would deteriorate any second now, with her back painfully arched and nipples perked from prior tormenting. A suffocating stroke of sticky heat clung to her skin.
Soon enough, after several low moans of self-encouragement and aggressive stroking, ivory streams of the very last remains of her innocence cloaked her exhausted fingers in the form of delicate cum which trickled onto her palace of rest that resembled a pretty flower-bed now poisoned by a patch of detested fun.
Her body slightly trembled from the semi-frustrating experience of self-pleasure before the messy fingers she had admired dressed in angelic white slithered down her naked form, once more cupping her sensitive vagina.
"Oh fuck." she exhaled with a diabolical grin.
Y/n limply collapsed against her headboard that supported her slouched figure now doused with the eternal blaze belonging to her new supporter who owned a pointy tale and enticing horns.
Guilt people typically experienced wasn't as common nowadays - the remorse within Y/n had perished a little while ago as the mindset that she satisfy her own needs and should not acquire guilt afterwards diminished her final opportunity to be viewed as one of righteousness.
Although the female in question merely enjoyed viewing sexual videos here and there, in due time, she would be the transfixion of a certain fraction of the public and labelled a hidden gem when involved in another student's company. Thousands would desire her soul from one watch of her and another's abruptly posted content.
Amongst those sinful watchers, a minor group of youthful adults who were dear companions to both Y/n and her partner would collapse into his and her palms, too.

Xiao Zhan - Wild music video storyboard and story script
Tumblr media
Script and storyboard under the cut .
Behind the Scenes of Xiao Zhan's "We" MV | Visualization of the Story Script
After a year, I finally have the opportunity to share the storyboard creation notes of Xiao Zhan's new album's first hit "We" MV
Story Overview and World View Setting
The story takes place in the forbidden area of an abandoned world buried in yellow sand in the near future, full of experimental ecological boxes and broken pipes, suggesting the desolation after the collapse of civilization.
The ecological box preserves the specific emotions of "people" like laboratory specimens. These "I" mechanically repeat fixed emotional actions (angry roaring and smashing glass cups, squatting in the corner with tears in sadness, and constantly struggling when being submerged in water). I watched every "I" in the ecological box and said goodbye to these "we" by burning them.
When leaving, there was an "I" who called for help from me, and I found that he was not a repetitive mechanical "I". His despair made me empathize. When I opened the ecological box to take him away, he showed the hidden weapon and stabbed me, and then locked me in the box with his backhand. I looked at the burning ecological box and finally became "we".
The story explores the dilemma of "universal good people". As shown in the MV, "I", numbered "Hope", escaped from the eco-box, returned to the forbidden land to bid farewell to all the different "I", and was finally trapped by "despair". The mutual transformation of HOPE and DESPAIR reveals that the two are essentially two sides of the same coin.
When creating the atmosphere of the storyboard, Director LIN tends to use some stylized scenes to approach the dark aesthetics of "Blade Runner 2049".
At the same time, under the high contrast between costumes and props and the environment (such as the white eco-box and the dim environment), the "artificial sense" and "experimental" are strengthened to present the proposition that the author wants to explore when the self becomes an object, the spiritual and emotional dilemma of contemporary human beings.
PS: It is precisely because of the science fiction theme of "We" and the full-process film industrialization production framework empowered by Party A that this music science fiction film concept album full of visual tension can be released. Respect Brother Zhan and the talented Director LIN.

V3 Survey suggestions
With Version 3 coming out, there will also be a survey. I'm sure many of you have had many ideas for how to improve the game, so before we forget any of them, let's compile them here
Please add your own additions to this post! Don't be shy!! It will let people consider them and put them on their own survey answers too!
I'll start:
New things in LADS:
Orbit playback feature - to allow us to replay directional orbit stages that we've already cleared
A "Sleeping next to him" quality time feature that lets us listen to the LI breathing. Maybe with a bedtime story that we can collect through gameplay or the chocolate shop too
An "Eating with him" quality time where you... eat with him
An alarm clock feature where we can set an alarm and our chosen LI will say good morning to us. Also maybe reminder alerts to work out and go to bed
The Kiss interaction in the cafe that the Chinese server got
More Zayne animations
More animations with visible MC interacting with the boys
Let us exchange large ascension crystals for smaller ones
Let us exchange duplicate plushie/kitty badges for something useful
Add EXP to memories used in battle after a win
Let us replay text messages so that we can choose different options
Let us replay special login greetings that autoplay during special events
Let us save our voice/language preferences for each individual LI
Make in-game friends more meaningful with interactions, power ups, etc. Such as borrowing a friend's cards for battles or having their main LI rescue us when we almost fail in battle
Have the LI acknowledge when you've made several attempts at the same Deepspace trial and encourage you further. Also congratulate us more often 🥺
More things to do in LADS:
More combat modes, especially stages we can clear daily that don't need the highest level cards and will give us diamonds
Make Abyssal Chaos harder so that the boosts actually mean something
More mini games, especially the ones that have already appeared in the game
More ways to earn diamonds through gameplay
More interactions in the cafe
Add different locations to the homescreen (for example, the LI's homes)
More Sylus cards
Improve existing things in LADS:
improve voice direction so that the voiced lines don't need to be artificially sped up
Improve English translations to line up more closely with the original scripts and the other translations
Increase/remove the weekly cap for chocolate, especially now with 5 LI
Increase/remove the directional orbit key limit
Increase the drop rate of bounty hunts
Let us permanently set our MC's appearance in the cards/battles
Let the servers get new content at the same time so the NA server doesn’t always get spoiled by other servers and the official twitter
Outfits:
More casual/comfy outfits for Zayne because he deserves it
Give us Zayne's Exclusive Tutorial outfit!
PLEASE code Zayne to choose his black shirt + sunglasses outfit less often!!
Give us the dress Sylus talks about - the one with the night sky over a river

Short stories of sahsrau inspired by @suiana thanks for the permission to write this and if you read it I hope you enjoy.
CW: bad grammar, blood, mentions of death
You ran wincing at the pain of the of the cuts on your skin from the count less attempts and blisters on your feet for running for so long. You didn’t know they were real nothing in the game suggested they were anything but fictional characters. If you had known you would have never touched the game, spend so many hours fighting the same monsters and bosses over and over again. Yet here you are running from the characters you loved and cherished, that gave you a distraction from the darkest moments in your life hunting you down like a rabid dog, A parasite that needs to be purged. Your body ached for rest yet you couldn’t stop running with stelle being distracted by the other members of the astral express you had no one to protect you. So you ignore the stinging cuts, the bleeding blisters, the mud clinging to your skin, the constant body aches and the distant yelling of characters…no people you cared about wishing you a slow painful death.
As the bright sun dips into the horizon and night falls you were able the slow down the cover of night was always a comfort to you. It was harder to see at night and people who were up at night like silver wolf couldn’t hurt you. Not because she didn’t try when she saw you but because Elio’s script didn’t allow it so at not it was a game of strategy to not get caught unlike the morning which was more like temple run. As you walk through the brush of the woods covered in mud and your own blood you manage to find a place to rest on the forest floor you body crying out in pain and exhaustion. you look out at the stars and the distant planets filled with people who hate you people who want you dead. Tears roll down your face as you watch the galaxy from the muddy pit you were in.
After a few short hours of not restful sleep you woke up to the sound of yelling close yelling of voices you recognized Himeko, Welt, voices from members of the IPC, the Loufu, and Belobog. This was it they caught you even if you could run they were to close you could never run fast enough to get away. Your body cried in pain refusing to move and as they walked up to you all you could do was cry soft as the world around you seemed to collapse in all around you. Their anger voices sounding so distant despite being right in front of you and as you watch you all take aim ready to finally kill the dog they have been chasing for weeks but just as they got ready to strike just as the got as you finally accepted you would die a painful death something seemed to happen freezing them in place as a voice booms from what felt like all directions
“I knew we should have stepped in early! They were about to kill darling god! she helped them become stronger enough to defeat their enemies and guide them through challenge after challenge and this is how they thank them!” the voice masculine dripping with rage. “Fine I concede nanook, I believed the people who followed my path and who I gave my power to would be smart enough to not during harm to the only being that truly had only their best interests at heart.” The voice the responsed was robotic giving no emotion but what sounded like disappointment but even that seemed artificial. “We could always get rid of them start new with creatures that will treat them as the merciful god she is” the voice continued to speak to each all different names Nanook, Aha, fuli, HooH, Lan, Mythus, Nous, Qlipoth, Terminus, Xipe, and Yaoshi. The names of the voices. The names of the aeons that are said to be in constant war to gain control over the entirety of universe agree to put all of that aside to kill all living things that ever spoke ill of you that wished harm on you that wish you dead.
“WAIT!” you yelled standing with your last bit of energy. Your yelling silencing the voices of the aeons “Don’t hurt them I’ve seen enough pain. I’ve caused them enough pain for a lifetime. I treated them like pawns in a game but in my world it was a game if I had known they were alive that I locked them in place when i logged in that they felt even hit from the countless fights I put them through I would have never played the game.” Your eyes start to water more as you speak begging the aeons to spare the people who you hurt the people who tried to kill you. “I could never forgive myself if I let they all get killed because of me not when I used them as a distraction from my own world”
The silence was tense uncomfortable every part of your body to just collapse into sleep “darling are you sure you don’t want us to get rid of theme for you” yaoshi spoke with slightly shock in their voice “yes don’t hurt them please” the aeons not wanting to go against their darling gods will agree to leave and not start the universe a new leaving you with the silent characters they had gutted you for weeks but you let them leave even if it might that after the aeons lift you could be killed and as the watch you collapse all they could do is stare at your weak unconscious body on the ground. After that those who tried to hurt you avoid you you made it easy for them since you would run for them if you saw them. But watching you interact with those who were kind to you play with children and animals they started to see you differently and maybe one day they’ll come up to you to talk.

Read this post by @yourlocaltiredartist on a potential for a lyrical cover of the Acid Tunnel scene between Kris and Ralsei, and that got me thinking about it all again.
Long post incoming under the read more!
The more I think about the Acid Tunnel sequence (and I think about it Quite a Lot), the more it feels like the GAME is forcing this, and not the player. It's like there's lines on a teleprompter, and Ralsei is reading them absolutely faithfully - because that's all he knows. He does care for Kris a LOT, but here the atmosphere is doing a great deal of the heavy lifting. The framing and the kitschy music (not to mention the title of the track playing) are contributing the most to this sense of them as a pair, and Ralsei is just playing along as he always does. Even then, I wouldn't say he was being overtly romantic here - again, the context in which he speaks is doing an awful lot of the heavy lifting.
The really interesting thing is that neither Kris NOR the player are really given a means to subvert this course of events. Video games will just put us in scenarios and we just have to deal with whatever they give us - and that's no less true here. The closest you can get is with the dialogue prompt "it's strange", but even then it feels needlessly mean, whereas the other option "I feel the same" leans too heavily into it. Depending on whether you feel that the dialogue options reflects things that Kris might say, you could argue that words are being put not only in their mouth, but in OURS too. It's an unsatisfying binary choice that does not allow for nuance (almost as if having to choose between two diametrically-opposite concepts that are equally bad isn't actually a choice at all... woah.)
But WAIT there's more - because normally in Chapter 2 we'd use the other characters' reactions to Kris' dialogue options to gauge how they feel about that option. Susie, Berdly, Alphys and Noelle can hear Kris' tone when they speak and use that to inform their choices, which at the same time clues us the player in on how Kris feels about it. But that doesn't happen with Ralsei - almost like he doesn't register Kris's tone at all and takes everything they appear to say at face value. Perhaps that speaks to his earnestness and lack of experience, or perhaps it speaks to the fact that he's reacting as if the player is speaking, not Kris. Perhaps both are true at the same time. But it makes figuring out either of their true feelings on the subject rather difficult, even if we can make educated guesses.
The overall impression I get of this scene is that both Kris and Ralsei have been forced into this scenario waaaaay too soon, considering they only really met yesterday (as far as we know, anyhow) - in any other game, this scene and the way the characters behave would allow us to indulge in the fantasy of their romance to be fated, but Deltarune staunchly refuses to let us do so here due to all the extenuating factors at play - Kris's possession by the player, Ralsei's suggestibility and adherence to the script, the inherent ridiculousness of a tunnel-of-love-esque ACID river in the middle of enemy territory. The game sets the scenario up and knocks it down in the same instant, which is interesting... ESPECIALLY when you contrast it with Susie and Noelle's ferris wheel scene straight after.
I do think it's highly significant that Ralsei prompts us to check in on Susie right after this scene as well - after this artificially-invoked sense of intimacy, the two of them are able to snatch an actual unguarded moment together. Very intriguing, isn't it?

As we're in the topic of AI, I remember my mom once insisting I learn how to use it as she believed all jobs are going to be replaced by machines in the future. When I tried giving my valid arguments to how AI should be implemented without totally replacing people, harming the environment, spreading misinfo (I'm lookin' at you, Google AI!) and stealing information, she just shut me down with "Oh, but you risk being left behind! Remember Kodak? They shut down when everyone started going digital!"
There was this wise man who said "I'd prefer to have AI help me do my chores and reduce the workload but not take over the job I love." As an artist, you know that anything that's made by a human becomes a novelty and more sought after. I remember passing by our local mall and all of the ads had these hollow, generic AI-lookin' CGI graphics. There is just something in them that makes me gag!
Heck, I'd rather look at those corporate Memphis illustrations more than those slop. Again, I wonder if she's even listening when I suggested how AI could be susceptible to privacy breaches. I hate how even Google and DuckDuckGo have AI features now whenever I search for something. Even one of the prestigious art schools such as Gobelins landed under fire for using AI!
For now, AI doesn't seem to be a very promising tool. It's not like digital art or cameras because at least it doesn't feed off data and just makes creating art or taking photographs much easier. At least you get to curate the results by toggling with settings and textures instead of just typing random prompts leading to some sickening random image.
In regards to AI, I know a lot of people have anxiety around the topic. But it's a great time to actually talk about what AI is and isn't.
And what we call AI is not actually artificial intelligence. What we are calling AI is still a highly regulated script of pseudo-reasoning that is impressive on first blush, but quickly shows its debilitating limitations.
For one, large language models are impressive as long as you don't think about it. The hive mind these companies have sought to create fails at the basics due to the fact that this is still just a software program we are talking about. It is utterly useless as a data collection and research tool as it has no idea what is and isn't true. The large language models look impressive. It looks like it's thinking as it goes step by step to “prove it's work” so to speak. But it is just sifting through data, it's not actually thinking. Thinking would be reasoning. It would be categorizing sources based on accuracy, while also taking into account implicit bias of such sources.
Asking GhatGPT to make a pasta recipe, but asking for substitutions to certain ingredients will not yield a surefire result as the computer is not going to understand the difference between a tomato and a lemon as both are acidic fruits. It does not understand the concept of texture or where it comes from. It doesn't grasp the experience of eating food because it is running on an assumption that the ability to taste yields a singular result. That everyone will find a lemon sour and a grapefruit bitter and a cherry tart. But what if you don't taste soap when you eat cilantro? What if lemons are sugary sweet while grapefruits are tart? The machine is never going to be able to account for the experience of sensing.
As such, AI will never be able to portray meaningful art either. The fact that AI has taken up so much of the artistic community's discourse goes to show the issues with art today. People are so afraid of a machine creating something that looks pretty because that's all we make any more. We have commodified and commercialized art to the point of it being soulless. Its only purpose is to appear aesthetically pleasing for an audience who will spend less than a minute on a piece of art we've spent hours to days to weeks working on. But the reason is because our art lacks meaning. Whenever someone praised art on Twitter and claimed an emotional reaction, they attribute their feelings to the context of the source material or the appearance to the art.
When I went to an art museum, the paintings were all very well done, but not all aesthetically pleasing. And the one that stuck with me the most was a painting of four elderly women staring back at me. The only aspect of the painting that is in sharp focus are these women’s blue-grey eyes. And that was intentional. Because I kept finding myself going back to that painting because I kept feeling a strange sense of guilt. These eyes were on me and I couldn’t tell if it was with tenderness or scorn, so I had to keep going back. I felt guilty, if it was with tenderness I was ashamed I couldn’t remember anything else about them. Their faces left my mind the second I looked away. If it was with scorn, I felt the need to figure out what I missed. What quality was in the painting that was leaving me confused about the way these women looked at me.
That’s when I noticed their faces were literally painted in such a way that gave them an almost dream-like effect. The artist played on my brain’s inherent desire to identify a face, and with the eyes painted in such fine detail, the hazy idea of a face was held together in my brain. But I couldn’t say anything else about them without looking directly at them.
And it made me feel, but feel in a way that was slow and contemplative. It made me consider what the artist was trying to say without just googling it. A guess based on our wordless conversation through his medium. Because the real beauty and power that makes art ART is the way you get to interact with it as an individual. It’s vaguely spiritual. You can have these conversations with people long passed, and come to know them through their works.
That isn’t how it is anymore.
When you’re chasing numbers, be it in the form of money or perceived admiration, you inherently lose sight of what got you started: a feeling, a thought, an idea. Computers will never be able to question an idea. Never be able to extrapolate meaning from information or technique. Computers only understand numbers.
The fear of AI is the fear of replacing capitalism and consumerism. All we are thinking about is numbers. Numbers in the price of rent and food. Numbers in the hours worked and days off. Numbers in how we justify our own existence through social media clout and how much we consume with literal numbers. We function like computers, so of course people are scared of being replaced by computers. That they need these computers to stay on the latest operating system.
Only machines are scared of machines.

The Pros and Cons of YouTube Automation: What You Need to Know
Hey there, fellow content enthusiasts!
YouTube has become an integral part of almost everyone’s lives. Out of the 5.17 billion social media users worldwide, 52% access YouTube. As per February 2025 statistics, globally, there are more than 2.7 billion monthly active users. Here, we are talking about the world of YouTube automation. Understanding the mechanics of automating a YouTube channel can be a game-changer, irrespective of whether you're a professional, a seasoned creator, or just starting.
Let's break it down together!
What is YouTube Automation?
YouTube automation isn't about bots or artificial intelligence running your channel; instead, it refers to outsourcing the production and management of YouTube videos. It comprises tools and software to streamline various aspects of managing a YouTube channel. In this model, a team is hired to handle various tasks such as video editing, scripting, voiceovers, and thumbnail creation while you oversee the process. As the owner of the channel, you play a project manager’s role, ensuring content is regularly created and uploaded. This allows you to scale your channel without doing all the heavy lifting yourself. This may range from scheduling the uploads and optimization of video SEO, creating videos using AI, and even generating content ideas.
The goal?
To increase efficiency, save time, and help your channel grow without burning out.
Benefits of YouTube Automation:
Time Efficiency
One of the biggest benefits of YouTube automation is the ability to save time instead of spending hours on scripting, recording, and editing videos. Imagine, that while you focus on creating stellar content, your assistant handles the nitty-gritty tasks. That's what automation offers! You free up valuable time to brainstorm and produce engaging videos by scheduling posts and managing uploads automatically.
Consistent Content Delivery
Consistency is the key to tasting success and it’s the same for YouTube as well. To keep the audience engaged and vying for more, automation ensures the content is published at optimal times. No more struggling to push the "publish" button!
Enhanced Analytics:
Automation tools, help in understanding the viewer’s behaviour and preferences by gaining access to in-depth analytics. These analytical approaches help in more strategic content planning.
Scalability
Looking to increase your channel's reach? With YouTube automation, scaling makes it much easier to manage multiple videos or even multiple channels, ensuring a stable flow of content without burning out. You're not limited by your individual capacity because you're outsourcing the work
Enhanced SEO:
To rank the videos higher in search results, tools like TubeBuddy and VidIQ assist in keyword research, tag suggestions, and thumbnail optimization.
Creativity without burnout:
By outsourcing the tasks your brainy space is free to explore creative ideas without the constant pressure of doing everything yourself. This helps reduce burnout, which is common for solo YouTubers juggling multiple roles.
Potential Drawbacks:
While the benefits sound wonderful it's necessary to weigh them against the challenges. Let's discuss the potential downside of YouTube automation.
1.Loss of Personal Touch
Personal touch may go for a toss due to automated responses and scheduled posts. Over-reliance on automation might alienate your audience because viewers recognize genuine interaction.
2. High upfront costs -Starting an automated YouTube channel attracts an upfront cost that would be required to pay for team members like script writers, video editors and voiceover artists plus there are costs for tools too, like stock.
3.Risk of Spammy Content
Automation may lead to monotonous or low-quality content without careful supervision, which YouTube's algorithms may flag as spam. So, quality control remains indispensable.
4.Policy Violations
Adherence to YouTube’s terms of service is necessary to continue the channel. Some automation practices may potentially lead to channel suspension because of the violation of YouTube's terms of service. It's essential to stay informed of the platform policies to avoid unintentional breaches.
5.Fierce Competition- With numerous content creators, YouTube is saturated and standing out is a daunting task. Your channel could struggle to gain traction without opting for a unique angle or strong strategy to compete against thousands of others because automated channels usually focus on popular niches.
Popular Automation Tools:
Ready to explore some tools that can streamline your YouTube journey? Here are a few favourites:
TubeBuddy
An important browser extension that offers tag suggestions, keyword research, and bulk processing features to augment your channel's performance. Having TubeBuddy is like having a YouTube SEO expert murmuring in your ear as you create and optimize your videos.
Jasper
An AI-powered tool helps in maintaining a stable flow of content that assists in generating engaging video scripts and topic ideas.
SocialPilot
Suitable for managing and scheduling content across various platforms, ensuring consistent posting that augments audience engagement.
VidLQ- Primarily many SEO automation tools focus on keyword research and optimization, but vidIQ is different. It improves SEO, competitor analysis, and audience insights.
Zapier: Workflows are automated between YouTube and other apps by Zapier, like posting notifications to social media.
AIStudios: Uses AI for content creation, audience engagement, video editing, and audience engagement.
For YouTube creators, productivity is increased by these tools by streamlining tasks like video editing, SEO management, and audience engagement.
Best Practices for Use:
Here are some best practices to keep in place to make the most out of YouTube automation.
Balance Automation with Personal Rendezvous: For routine tasks, use automation tools to save time and streamline processes but personal interaction with your subscribers or live audience is very much essential through comments and regular sessions.
Review Regularly Automated Content: Always, keep a tab on your scheduled automated posts to ensure they remain relevant, high-quality, and align with your channel's goals and values.
Stay Informed on Policies: To ensure your automation practices remain compliant, keep yourself regularly updated on YouTube's terms of service.
Tailored Responses: While using automated replies, maintain a human touch while communicating to avoid sounding robotic.
To enhance efficiency and growth in YouTube’s strategy, integrating automation can be a powerful way.  However, it's crucial to maintain an equilibrium to keep the genuineness and personal connection that your audience cherishes.
Happy creating!

Fresh start - Chapter One
Tumblr media
Fresh start - HOW IT BEGAN (Aether pov)
highschool! au;
Chapter 1/45 - (old one, written 3 years ago)
I started writing this about… idk 3 years ago? Probably a month before Inazuma came out. Based on information and predictions available at that time. Currently, I would change a lot and def NOT use some of this ships. But for the sake of sentiment and good memories I will stay with the old concept. And I will use my old script.
I just always wanted to finish it. But it doesn't really relate to my current work and preferences/believes. Not that they were that bad in the past hahah but still, I've matured a bit in this 3 years
Tumblr media
Smooth the end of a freshly ironed shirt. Firmly tighten the tie. Neatly clasp a watch on right wrist. And carefully examine it in the rays of a rising sun.
A final fix of hair, completed with a significant ruffling to a messy state.
Quick snap of phone. Click and done.
-You look great! - squawking voice of artificial intelligence cheered loudly.
Left corner of boy's mouth lifted up slightly at that.
Blond-haired boy shifted his gaze from phone screen to his reflection in the mirror. Indeed. He looked... pretty good. A white shirt and a light brown pullover trimmed with gold thread greatly hid boy's skinny body. His pants, slightly darker than his sweater, practically didn't stand out from the crowd. And diagonal yellow stripes on his brown tie perfectly highligted his honey-colored eyes. Under which, regular shadows disappeared. For the first time in a while.
Maybe this was the time. Time to say goodbye to them. If not permanently then at least for a while. Boy smiled even wider. He really looked good today!
Although in the picture he looked a bit better... More... carefree. Or maybe it was just this flying fairy icon's fault. The one jumping around photo and making both surprised and impressed faces assigned by a program.
-Aether! -loud, yet kind voice of boy's "mother" rang through the house.
-Coming!
Knocked out of his thoughts, he immediately turn off his phone. With a hasty glance he looked around for his bag. Catching it lying on the bed, he quickly ran out through the open door, almost tripping over his own feet.
Loud shaking of stair steps made his "parent" laugh.
-Now now -she assured through laughter- Easy. If you really took a long time to gather yourself, I would start rushing you more. You still have plenty of time. You will definitely make it! -she exclaimed cheerfully.
Aether merely nodded at that. He opened his bag, allowing metal box with fresh bento to be stuffed inside.
-Have it. I hope you enjoy it!-she smiled broadly and proudly- But if not, don't be afraid to get yourself something! I won't hold a grudge! I have no experience in this anyway... But I'll try to get it! If you have any suggestions, tell me right away. I'll try to get better!
A slightly awkward silence could be felt for a moment. Probably Aether's dull gaze didn't make this situation any better. But he couldn't help it. That's just how he was. Quiet, reserved, definitely not as energetic as woman leaning over him. Luckily, this "moment" like every other, passed quickly.
Checking began; "Did you pack your books?" "A pen?" "You have the money?" "And your phone, right?" "Have you reported your status today?" "Took your medicines?" "Brushed your teeth?"
To all of these questions Aether thoughtfully nodded, though he laughed sincerely at the last one.
-Surely. I am not five years old but eighteen.
-Oh, yeah... I'm sorry. I guess it's not that easy to skip through these stages after all -there she paused for a moment to lovingly run her fingers through Aether's hair. But in this gesture something more was hidden. Some sort of sadness and dissatisfaction that Aether didn't fail to notice- Good luck on your first day of school.
-No thank you, as not jinx it! - with these words he ran towards exit door, where he quickly slipped white sneakers on his feet.
And... just when he was about to leave-... he held door handle a bit longer than he should and turned around. That suprised a woman.
-About you not being able to drop me off on first day because-...  because of work. It doesn't matter! I preferred to go there alone anyway. That way I can settle my mind. As Dr. Ping said: "I need to give myself some time to get used to everything."
At this statement "mom" glowed again, as if a weight had just fallen from her shoulders. Aether, however, couldn't enjoy this lovely view. Immediately after his confession he jumped out of the house. Ashamed of his boldness.
Stepping onto a sidewalk, he looked at "his house" for one last time. It stood still, as if unmoved by Aether's loss. Boy shifted his gaze to building next door, and in fact to its resident. A young, petite boy with knees wrapped tightly in blanket, who held a wooden instrument in his hand. Playing a rhythmic melody on it. A melody carried by wind that blew away his red and white hair.
Aether didn't even realize when he started humming. Just as he didn't realize when around twenty minutes later he bumped into another student passing in front of him.
A loud bang and a swish of papers could be heard thanks to passerby's fall. First words of apology came quickly from both mouths. Lady explained that she was in a hurry and pile of papers in front of her nose covered her view. While, gentleman blamed his drifting off and ignorance of dangers in new school. Eventually they both smiled warmly at each other. Then together helped themselves in standing up, shaking off dust and collecting printed sheets.
-Wait a minute, are you new here? Did I heard that correctly?
-Hmm... Yes? -Aether scratched back of his neck rather shy.
-Oho ho ho! -she exclaimed at that statement truly excited- And what? You walk here alone? Just by yourself? Without anyone's knowledge? On your first day? -she started to ask almost sneakily.
-Y-yes?
Girl clapped at this overjoyed, causing papers to spill out again. Boy looked at it a little stupiefied. Perhaps it would be better to retreat unnoticed?
On one hand: he didn't like the idea of collecting papers again. On the other: girl's gestures began to show a terrifying loss of common sense. There was no reason to stay.
Unfortunately, Aether, as Aether was, couldn't refuse to help.
Or maybe he didn't want to? Did anyone even ask him for help?
-Great! You are lucky, my young man, that you found me. I'm Amber! The biggest and greatest! And this school is my territory! -she exclaimed proudly, supporting her hips with her hands and looking up at the sky. Almost waiting for a divine glow to fall on her.
Glow, however, didn't shown.
Then Amber looked down at the mess beneath her feet. Her face darkened, as if she had just realized her actions. She laughed awkwardly.
-Pardon me? Hehe...
First lesson started quite smoothly. Well, except for introduction, which was unexpectedly thrown on Aether's shoulders. Which in reality was normal for a new student. Especially for the one who suddenly joins second class of high school.
Shy Aether mumbled a few sentences about himself. He blurted out something about pretended individual teaching and interests.
Short, pale, young boy didn't really pique a big interest. Maybe because he didn't fit into common canons of beauty. Or maybe because the rest of a class had more interesting topics to talk about. Or the lesson was more entertaining. Whatever it was, none of heads turned towards thw new student.
As soon as Aether noticed this, he quickly relaxed. Which sudden confidence, he began to check out his class himself. Mint-haired creature sitting in a first row, right in front of the professor, almost never put down her hand. She didn't close her mouth either. Every now and then, her shy voice could be heard in the classroom. Full of comments, questions, doubts, but also answers.
He shifted his interest to something else. Aether looked at the room that Amber had brought him to a good few minutes ago.
White walls, big blackboard and modest benches were pretty uninteresting.
Bored Aether glanced at another student. She also occupied one of first desks. This girl however, showed no interest in the lesson. Her main task was probably fixing a headband on her grey hair. What's more, her body was trembling slightly. It was easy to see that she was stressed a lot. When bell rang, girl squealed and almost jumped up on her chair. "I wonder if her hair is gray because of this whole stress".
-Hey you're Aether, right?
Aether turned towards the cheerful high-pitched voice, which led to meeting an amused blue irises.
-I'm Xingqiu, nice to meet you! -he bowed with a broad smile- And this is my friend. Meet Chongyun! -he introduced by pointing at a nodding head- Would you like to have lunch with us and our friends later?
Tumblr media
Mentioned lunch came faster than Aether could have expected. Before he knew it, he was already sitting at a stone table under a glass roofing, breathing in fresh spring air. Together with Chongyun and Xingqiu, as well as newcomers: Razor and Bennett they started to enjoy lunch. While getting to know each other.
Suddenly. Out of nowhere. A loud scream was heard by a group. Aether himself, whose name was just shouted, almost fell face-first into his food box. And it was not out of fear but due to the weight of a certain loud girl who had just thrown herself onto his back. Luckily, she was quick to reconsider. And instead of squishing her friend, she sat down next to him. But, she just couldn't help and just had to ask for an explanation about why Aether dared to leave her, instead of eating with her. After declaring an unforgivable grudge, Amber turned to the rest and introduced herself cheerfully.
-How is your first day at school going, huh? -Amber turned towards Aether despite her offence.
Others just looked at them, filling their stomachs in process.
-Eh... well? I guess... I mean, mostly like it? I don't know. So far everything that happened to me has been positive. So... rather good.
-How are classes? Teachers? O! O! Have you met that harsh, old geography professor yet?
-Hmm... no? I only had a language classes today, so I didn't really get a chance. And as for the rest, it waas... normal? I think.
-And how was class, hmm? If anyone is mean to you, your Amber will show them the hell out! -she shouted, as if ready for a battle, pulling up her sleeves.
-No no! It's okay. Nothing happened. Except for that girl with short grey hair, she was a little... weird. But it's not like she wanted anything from me. Onl-
-Are you talking about Noelle? -Xingqiu chimed in.
-Eh? Could it be? The one that was sitting in first bench.
-She was actually more stressed than usual - admitted Chongyun.
-Stressed? It must be that Geo Team again, let me just show them! They won't want to take advantage of this poor girl anymore!
Aether swallowed his saliva heavily and in order to cool down Amber's energy he decided to go a little bit off topic.
-Team?
-Yes, one of the best current teams in stride.
A smile bloomed on dark haired girl's face, which Xingqiu didn't fail to notice. He knew that girl was up to something and that she had some suspicious plans for new student. But he decided not to interfere.
-But there is nothing to talk about -she waved- In the end, stride is the most important sport in this city. Everybody knows it - she answered "casually".
Although it really felt like she wanted to continue...
Aether gave her a doubtful look.
-Stride?
-Yes, stride. Did I mispronounce?
-No, no, I just... what-- what exactly is stride?
Amber choked on her juice that she was just drinking. When loud coughing sounds echoed outside, Aether hurriedly started patting Amber's back, looking at her worried and puzzled.
-You shouldn't do that, it only makes condition worse - Xingqiu alarmed at the sight of Aether's actions. However, he was quickly interrupted by Amber, who, overcoming her choking, exploded:
-Do you not know stride?!
-N-no...?
Aether moved back slightly on the bench. Horrified by Amber's condition and the fact that he had apparently... said something wrong?
But what?
-Man, where have you been living! Under a rock?! Stride competition is one of the biggest events here! Not only does every high school participate in preliminaries, but everyyyoneee comes to official games! Not just students!
Amber started looking around at the rest of her companions in disbelief. Was it just her imagination, or did one of her age-mates really didn't know what stride was? Brown-haired girl let out excess of air, which managed to accumulate in her. She took a big breath and continued, a little more calmed down.
-I'll explain everything to you, don't worry! -she assured, slowly finding clear sides of Aether's ignorance - Oh, it's so good that you found me this morning. Who knows what would have happened to you otherwise. Not knowing about stride is the same as not knowing the taste of world's best Sticky Honey Roast!
Amber was drawn to the topic and began to talk. About how every school has its own representation. But those with outstanding achievements in stride can have two of them. About how each team can have an unlimited number of members. And about how over the years they began to require five official members to keep paperwork under control. About special roles. About stages of race. She wanted to talk about everything, but she actually said practically nothing. She was quickly interrupted by the bell.
Boys were late and hurriedly went to next class.
-Don't worry, we wouldn't leave you at Amber's mercy - laughed Xingqiu - You better watch out for her, her energy is sometimes... unpredictable.
In the last lesson, Aether couldn't concentrate much. It's not that he didn't try, because he did, but... He really didn't understand anything. He had spent last year trying to get back to normal life. It was hard for him to re-master normal skills, like making tea or putting laundry on. He definitely couldn't find time to catch up with school material...
He moved his eyes to the window. It was almost empty outside. Only two figures stood out in school's square. In one of them Aether recognized his neighbor, whom he had pleasure of seeing today on his way to school. He didn't know the other person. After all, that dark purple hair would be impossible to forget. Boys angrily exchanged words while waving their hands dramatically. Aether couldn't hear them from the second floor. But he knew that two of them were definitely arguing about something.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Rant
Warning. This article contains spoilers. Alas, this post is an enormous wall of text and consists purely from me complaining. Get the children away from the screen.
Okay, I’ll probably regret this later, but I’ll post this anyway. Years ago I used to be pretty vocal about my opinion, but these days I prefer to keep most of the negative opinions to myself. But I believe if I’d keep everything bottled up on this one particular matter I’ll simply explode.
I’m currently enthusiastically playing Like a Dragon/Yakuza series, which is now one of my favorite game series. Back at high school used to play first two games on PS2, and later there was Kurohyo on PSP, but didn’t get too far in any of them, decided save it for later, and this “later” has finally happened several months ago after listening to one pretty entertaining podcast about JPRGs. One of the hosts has totally sold me Yakuza: Like a Dragon (I’ve literally ran and bought it after listening the podcast). I’ve played it, loved it and almost cried my eyes out on the ending (seriously, if someone asks me how my ideal JRPG should look like, I’d say that’s the one).
After that I’ve beaten Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. I’ve really enjoyed this game in general, but comparing to its predecessor, while most of the gameplay issues were fixed, some story issues did arise. Story itself is far more simple and lacks memorable antagonists (Ebina was okay and Bryce was outright lame). Still, there were a plenty of interesting moments to keep me going, and I really liked the ending, which was extremely moving, the part before the ending credits I mean. And then this stupid love confession scene happened and completely ruined the mood for me. Seriously, it wasn’t funny, it was tasteless like in the worst romcoms.
And, well, here lies the main issue with Infinite Wealth for me - this poorly-written romance subplot between Ichi and Saeko, and how Saeko character is handled in this game in general. So, if you are the fan of her I suggest you to stop reading right here, right now.
First, I would like to point that, when Saeko was just an optional romantic interest in LaD it was perfectly fine, but in IW, where she became the designated love interest, the whole romance plotline became very forced and uncalled-for. In LaD they were simply on friendly terms with no indication of evident romantic interest, and in IW the whole “Ichi falling for Saeko” thing looks extremely out of nowhere. All interactions between them look artificial without real chemistry between characters. Seriously, every time Ichi says, that he loves her or have feelings for her, it sounds hardly believable, like he is trying to convince himself and the players. At moments like this I could almost imagine something like this:
RGG Studio staff: *gives Ichi the script* Start reading.
Ichi: But that’s a bunch of bullshit!
RGG Studio staff: *points a gun on Ichi* Start reading. Now.
To be honest, I’m not the fan of romance genre at all and I mostly view romance sublots in various media as a nuisance. Still I won’t deny that there are some romantic storylines I genuinely enjoyed and was rooting for the characters till the very end (like Alphen and Shionne from Tales of Arise or Oswald and Gwendolyn from Odin Sphere for example), but there are still very few of the quality romantic stories to my liking comparing to those, which are either okay or boring at the best, and unbelievably stupid or outright unhealthy (and stupid) at the worst.
Worst of all, that RGG Studio actually can write a decent romance subplot. And I believe that Yakuza 0  is a good example of this. There we have Goro Majima (who is my second most favorite character in the series, after Ichi) and Makoto Makimura (who belongs to one of my least favorite character archetypes-“damsel-in-distress”, but considering her condition and the fact that everyone is after her, she really does need help and protection). In their story there wouldn’t be a single “I love you” or “I have feelings for you” or any other needless words, they just go through many shit together and slowly develop feeling for each other, which is shown very subtly through finely directed cutscenes. They don’t get together in the end (which is pretty logical, considering everything, that’s happened), but this plotline gets pretty heartwarming conclusion in Kiwami 2. But if they actually did get together I wouldn’t mind at all, even though Makoto isn’t one of my favorites, simply because their story is well-written and makes sense.
Alright, back to Ichi and Saeko. Let’s start with the infamous “proposal-on-the-first-date” scene, I won’t deny that it was awkward as hell (I was like: “Ichi, please, just shut up.”), but Saeko’s reaction wasn’t one of the mature woman either. I would’ve understood her reaction if they’d barely knew each other, in that case it would’ve been perfectly natural. But they know each other pretty well by this point (three years, no less) and she knows that he tends to speak his mind and has zero experience with women. I believe, she could’ve always say something like:”Hold on, let’s not rush things.”, I’m sure he would’ve understand. But no, she just runs away and leaves him hanging. And when, thanks to Adachi and Nanba, Ichi realizes, what he did wrong, he goes and apologizes. Saeko seemingly accepts the apology, says that they are still friends, and that as a friend she will support him no matter what. And what Saeko does next? She ignores Ichi for a whole year. And when he loses his job and becomes pariah thanks to Tatara Channel, only Adachi and Nanba go and check up on him. When she finds out, she doesn’t even bother to send something like: “Are you okay?” or whatever. And that’s after all the crap they’ve went through in LaD. A “true friend”, nuff said.
Oh, and you know what’s rich? In her Drink Link (I did it only for the achievement and to see whether she actually expresses any remorse at all, spoiler-no) it is revealed that, the whole year she was ghosting Ichi, she was dating some obvious bastard, who was manipulating her into marrying him to get her money and business. Funny, how she didn’t see that until he went and said it himself. Another fun fact, that in some random dialogues she actually asks Kiryu and Nanba how Ichi is doing, only to add something like: “Not that I care.”. Seriously, her whole attitude towards Ichi is so fucked up and can easily be described as emotional abuse. If I were him I would’ve dismissed her after that year of ghosting and just forgot about her. And the last, but not the least, everyone either criticizes or mocks Ichi because of this stupid proposal, but no one criticizes Saeko for her craptastic treatment of him.
Also putting romance aside, I believe Saeko has nothing to offer as a character. In LaD she was an okay character, albeit with the little to zero relevance to the main plot. I believe RGG Studio has added her only for the sake of adding at least one playable girl in the party full of dudes to expand the audience, since Eri is an optional character and you can beat the game without even getting her in the team. Speaking of Eri, while she is totally unimportant to the main storyline, she is still much more likeable and fleshed out character than Saeko, and more useful in battles too.
In IW Saeko became much worse. As I see it, her portrayal is something of a strong and independent woman. And it does not withstand any criticism. Even in LaD there were some optional dialogues, were she is mocking other party members in a form of a joke. In IW she is even more immature. For example, remember how in LaD she refused to go with you in cabaret club ( I mean, where you can order a hostesses)? In IW Seonhee tags along with the guys in the same club (because, why not?), and Saeko decides that she is going too, even though she is not interested in the stuff. And there is more instances (all optional dialogues though), where someone does something, she clearly disapproves, but everyone else in party does, and she decides to do it too. I believe, that being strong and independent actually means having an opinion of your own and not caring about what others would think about you. While both Seonhee and Chitose really can be described as strong women, Saeko only seems like one, but in reality she is just pathetic. When it comes to main story in IW-she can be easily removed from all cutscenes, because most of the time she either all bark no bite (strong and independent woman, uh-huh) or just stands there. Looks like RGG Studio simply didn’t know what to do with her after LaD and wrote all this pseudo-romantic crap simply to justify her presence in IW. For me it sure didn’t work, I felt utterly disgusted with her the whole game. I wish they would just wrote her out entirely from the story. While in LaD she was only one non-optional girl in the party, in IW we have two more well-developed female characters, who, unlike Saeko, are actually important to the plot.
I’ve read somewhere that RGG Studio is currently working on the next installment in the series. I have no idea, what it’ll be about, but I really wish that they’d just drop the idea of getting Ichi and Saeko together for the sake of it. It seriously looks like the cupid on drugs is garroting the poor guy with the red string. To be honest, I’m not exactly excited about new installment at all. Saeko stuff aside, for me IW is the fitting conclusion to the series. I seriously don’t see what else could be added to the main story, since all the major storylines got a closure by that point. I only wish for Kiryu to heal his cancer and for Ichi to get his job back (and the same goes for Majima, Saejima and Dojima, since I don’t remember anything said about it in the ending), and for both of them to live in peace for the rest of the days. They’ve had enough shit in their lives already.

Tumblr media
I read somewhere that the Microsoft Bing search engine now provides a free image generator. It uses Artificial Intelligence to create an image of whatever you ask it to draw. It's available at: https://www.bing.com/images/create.
So I decided to try generating some pro wrestling images to test out the new technology and see how homo-erotic it was willing to go. I started out simply with "two pro wrestlers standing in a wrestling ring" and within a minute, it generated four such images. The best of the bunch is posted above -- two remarkably swole hotties with powerful physiques and tall white boots that I didn't even ask for!
Now I want to see more! So I tried "pro wrestler holding his anguished opponent in a body scissor hold." The three resulting images were very enticing and sexy, but the AI machine obviously does not know what a Body Scissor is...

So I'm impressed with the output even if these are not technically Body Scissors! The lighting and coloring are intense and severe. The guys are super attractive and handsome -- not cartoonish fat brutes. Their arms are swole and veiny too, which I like. Their bodies are placed in various sexually-suggestive positions with the attacker mounting his victim.
And including the adjective "anguished" in my request resulted in these incredible Orgasm Faces, not only on the victim but also the attacker. Especially in the final image above, the dude on top definitely looks like he's in the process of busting one out.
So I just had to ask the bot to show me a Sleeper Hold. But this one was a bridge too far for some reason. The AI machine was intelligent enough to realize that this was porn for me and it refused to draw me a Sleeper:
Tumblr media
Oh well, there are limits to the utility of this new technology if you're hoping to use it for pornographic purposes. But I suspect the day is coming when AI will generate animations, long videos, even entire movies based on a written script -- I can't wait! It will be cheaper and faster to have the Video Generator create you a custom wrestling match with all your favorite moves rather than paying actors/models to perform it for you. (Someone needs to teach the Bot what a Scissor is.)
Meanwhile, I'm going to keep playing around with the Bing Image Generator -- maybe ask it for some Tag Team images which I love.
